Due to many questions and misunderstandings I’ve created a small FAQ regarding 7.1 Surround and THX Spatial.

It is important to understand that 7.1 Surround IS NOT THX Spatial. These are 2 different surround technologies.

I’ve registered headset with RazerID, got 7.1 surround key, but getting “The code you have entered does not seem to be valid. Please try again”

It’s likely you’ve installed THX Spatial app, instead Surround 7.1 app. Please uninstall THX Spatial app, download 7.1 surround https://www.razer.com/eu-en/71-surround-sound and activate with the received key.

Why am I getting a ”This device is already registered” error when registering BlackShark V2 X headset on RazerID?

It’s possible your headset is counterfeit and/or it’s from un-authorized distributor and/or reseller (like Aliexpress, Shopee, Lazada, eMAG, 3rd party Amazon sellers etc…). The best way is to return headset back, and get it from authorized source like Razer.com or Razer authorized resellers.

I’ve purchased a BlackShark V2 / V2 Pro / Kraken V3 / V3 Pro etc… and didn’t received an activation code, and THX Spatial is asking for it.

Headsets like Blackshark V2 / V3 Pro / Kraken V3 / V3 Pro and so on… have THX Spatial built-in in Synapse software, no activation needed. If you’ve already installed external THX Spatial audio – uninstall it.

but kraken v3 pro users cannot use synapse software because no function works in the programme and the razer brand does not solve this problem :)

I have a little different problem. 50 % reward price for THX audio cannot be activated in my country of the Czech Republic, even though it is in the list of supported countries. Thank you for any advice.

No problem here - it’s detected properly.

Have you tried Synapse clean reinstall? Also which Synapse do you use?

1. Uninstall Synapse
2. Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
3. Then restart your PC
4. After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

I may have tried this 20 times.

Hello there, I bought a Kraken V4 X and when I tried to activate the THX Spatial Audio the code is invalid

I bought a blacksharkvc x usb box a year ago and just realize that i could get the software but cant seem to able to us it due to I lose the code. I do have the proof of purchase recipe and wonder if possiable to get a new one(for the code).

You don’t need a proof of purchase - just register it with your RazerID account - proof of purchase is optional, just put some approximate date of purchase (or maybe you can check in your card transaction history if you paid for it via credit card).

Guys, help me out. I bought headphones, but I can't register them. It says they are already registered, but I just bought them. What should I do?

It’s already mentioned in FAQ. Return them and get from legit source.

Check spam folder if the activation code is not there.

please tell me, I'm trying to install 7.1 Surround sound, but nothing helps, including reinstallation, the application gives an error that the Rzappengine file is required

I have a problem with my blackshark v2. I use the synapse 3 app and it works amazing! its like a whole new experience with my headphones…but there is something…and its that when my cpu its near 100% (like heavy cpu games) the audio starts to struggle and it makes me so mad, i paid for this high quality headphones and the app is just so poorly optimized that it makes me wanna unsintall it. I had a i3-10100f before and the problem was horrible but now i upgraded to a i5-11400f and the problem persists, just not as often as before but still…Do i need the top tier cpu out there to run an audio app for it to work properly?

Looks like some bug. I’d try clean reinstalling Synapse 3 or even try the Synapse 4:

1. Uninstall Synapse

hello i have a question. Iam trying to get the 7.1 sound andwhen i enter the serial number of the v2x its says that itnot registered but when i enter the address it says that its already registered i need help please
